About Me I am a retired librarian and I now support books and authors through my reviews.

I have always loved to read and I was able to share that love through my work as a public librarian for 22 1/2 years. I now promote literacy by reading, and then writing reviews. I love to support authors by sharing my reviews with others!

Book Spine Poetry: A Matter of Perspective

You know how people talk about perspective? Glass half full or glass half empty? Yesterday I accepted a challenge to create a poem with book spines and I chose some inspirational books that I've recently enjoyed. I arranged them, thinking that the spines should be read from the bottom up.

When You Need to Move a Mountain, Fight Your Fears Praying Women.
Choose Prayer.
When God Says Wait, She Believed.
When God Says Go!
Made to Move Mountains.

And then, last night, it dawned on me that perhaps these spines might mean just as much reading them from the top down.

Made to Move Mountains When God Says Go!
She Believed When God Says Wait.
Choose Prayer Praying Women.
Fight Your Fears When You Need to Move A Mountain

Who knows? What do you think? Does it really matter?
