Safe House Exposed by Darlene L. Turner

Safe House Exposed
ABOUT THE BOOK

Witness protection should have kept them safe.

Instead, it left them completely exposed…

Canadian border patrol officer Emma James has only one concern after putting a crime boss behind bars: keeping her daughter safe. But witness protection has a leak, and Emma's enemies know exactly where to find her. Now on the run with no safe haven, trusting her estranged former brother-in-law, police constable Mason James, to shield them is her only hope.

MY THOUGHTS.....

Safe House Exposed is a story that you don't want to miss! It has nail-biting excitement, heart-tugging emotions, and romantic tension at the top of the scale, and it's exactly what I've come to expect when I see Darlene Turner's name on a book cover. This book starts off with a bang, literally, and the danger and adventure continue throughout. Emma James is a Canadian border guard who's desperately trying to keep her young daughter and herself safe from a crime boss intent on revenge. Her father-in-law sends her late husband's brother to the rescue, but their strained relationship threatens to derail Mason James's efforts. Will Emma accept his help? Can Mason protect them, now that he is also a target?

Turner once again proves her ability to keep us guessing, and I enjoyed her focus on Canadian law enforcement agencies. Safe House Exposed has engaging characters, realistic family dynamics, and a wonderful faith message woven into its intriguing plot. We are reminded that God is always near, and He won't let us go! I recommend this book to all who enjoy Christian romantic suspense.

I received a copy of this book from the author but there was no obligation for a favorable review. These are my own thoughts.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
