Have you ever fallen in love with a character that's a bluetick coonhound? Yes, Annie is Deputy Charlotte Walker's K-9 partner and she's a special part of Mary Alford's newest book. There's also a strong male character to help Charlotte and Annie as they search for a missing young woman. Will taking refuge in an Amish community lead to Jonah Knowles's return to the Amish faith that he once walked away?
Deadly Mountain Escape has so many elements that I love, including heart-pounding danger, hold-your-breath suspense, and emotional conflict. Can Charlotte and Jonas find relief from the grief and guilt that they've each experienced for so long? Will they finally overcome their doubts and learn to fully trust in God?
