This storybook is a wonderful collection of twenty-eight stories from both the Old and New Testaments, beginning with the Creation story in Genesis. The brightly colored illustrations and easy-to-understand text provide a captivating introduction to God's Word, and each retelling stays true to the major concept. I especially love that author Durand Loy lists the Bible scripture so that all of the original story can be explored further!
The Stories of The Bible is perfect for families to read and discuss together but I also plan to use it as an added resource in my Sunday School and VBS classes. I highly recommend The Stories of The Bible: An Inspiring Christian Storybook for Kids and its supplemental coloring book, Color the Stories of The Bible!
