ABOUT THE BOOK

Rebuilding a life
one paw print at a time.

After a traumatic experience, Brenna Park hopes that leading a youth summer camp with her emotional support dog, Lulu, will help ease her back into her life. Only, she didn’t expect to be sharing the responsibility with the man she left behind a decade ago. Recently widowed, Owen McCaw returns to his family’s ranch with his infant daughter to mend his estranged relationship with his parents and agrees to help out at his mother’s camp. As Brenna and Owen clash over every decision, they can’t ignore their growing connection either. When camp comes to an end, the two must decide if risking their hearts is worth a second chance at love…

MY THOUGHTS.....

This author is incapable of writing a bad book! Heidi Main consistently shares stories laced with sweet romance, realistic situations, and inspiration. She makes me want to befriend her characters, help them overcome their problems, and rejoice with their success. With this book, she's done it again!

I loved another visit with the McCaw family at the Triple C Ranch in Serenity, Texas. Owen McCaw struggles with immense guilt that has altered faith. Why had he worked late the night his wife was killed in an accident? Watching him in his troubled faith walk reminded me that it's all too easy for life circumstances to steal our total trust in God. And then there's Owen's surprising reunion with Brenna, a young woman who was also dealing with faith issues. Could these two hurting souls help each other draw closer to God?

If you enjoy second-chance romances, strong family connections, and heartwarming faith, grab a copy of An Unexpected Texas Reunion.

I received a copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Heidi Main writes sweet inspirational romance novels set in small towns. She lives in the central North Carolina’s suburbs, but dreams of acreage and horseback riding, which is probably why her novels include wide-open ranches and horses.

She loves to take walks, garden, play board games, curl up with a good book, and watch HGTV. A perfect Saturday is lounging on the deck with her husband and watching the many birds in their backyard.
