Realistic characters and ever-present danger make this an entertaining romantic suspense novel and it's hard to believe that it is a debut novel! Rocky Mountain Revenge is an intriguing tale filled with danger, revenge, and a second chance at love, but there are also glimmers of hope and faith that shine throughout the story. Author Rhonda Starnes perfectly captures the varying emotions of veterinarian Grace Porter and Police Chief Evan Bradshaw as they are thrown together in their efforts to find who is seeking revenge against Grace and her sister Chloe. As they feverishly work to find the assailant, it becomes apparent that some of the feelings that Grace and Evan felt as teenagers may still exist. Will Evan be able to protect these sisters without opening deep wounds from the past? Is it possible that Grace, who couldn't wait to leave Blackberry Falls, will decide that small town life isn't so bad after all?

Rocky Mountain Revenge is a wonderful first-time effort and I look forward to reading more books by Rhonda Starnes!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR



Rhonda Starnes is a middle school language arts teacher who has dreamed of being a published author since she was in seventh grade. She lives in North Alabama with her husband, who she lovingly refers to as Mountain Man. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Rhonda writes romantic suspense with rugged heroes and feisty heroines.
