Oh, my, what a story! A wife discovers that her late husband was connected to the mob, and she suddenly finds herself in a frantic race to find safe shelter in the South Dakota Badlands. And then, the unthinkable happens! Her four-year-old son Owen is snatched by the men she's trying to escape, and Abigail Fox becomes a desperate mother searching for her child!
Dangerous Desert Abduction begins with Owen's terrifying kidnapping and the danger and suspense never let up. I thought I knew who was acting as a mole in the investigation, but I was totally wrong! Well-developed characters, an unexpected alliance between two emotionally wounded individuals, and an inspiring faith journey made this a book that I couldn't put down. Author Kellie VanHorn kept me fully engaged and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! This is my second VanHorn book and I'm now a believer! I recommend this book to all who enjoy romantic Christian suspense.
