Oh, Maverick, you are a flirt! It's no wonder that so many young women are drawn to you! But what will happen if your best friend's younger sister starts to become more than just the little girl you've always known? Worse still, how do you convince her that your feelings are deeper than casual flirtation?
Author Jody Hedlund never disappoints me! The beginning pages of Waiting for the Rancher set the stage for a story that kept me eagerly turning the pages to see just what would happen between Maverick Oakley and Hazel Noble. There's family drama and non-stop adventure but the high-voltage romantic tension between Maverick and Hazel is the real attention grabber! I enjoy romance but I prefer for an author to allow my imagination to fill in the details and Hedlund is a master in this concept. Maverick and Hazel's friends-to-more romance is never explicit but the sizzling chemistry is off the wall!
