About Me I am a retired librarian and I now support books and authors through my reviews.

I have always loved to read and I was able to share that love through my work as a public librarian for 22 1/2 years. I now enjoy reading to my granddaughter and supporting authors through my reviews!

The Prayer Map® Devotional: 28 Weeks of Inspiring Readings Plus Weekly Guided Prayer Maps by Donna K. Maltese

The Prayer Map® Devotional: 28 Weeks of Inspiring Readings Plus Weekly Guided Prayer MapsABOUT THE BOOK

THE ORIGINAL Prayer Map Devotional!

Encouragement and inspiration for purposeful, more focused prayer is right here!

Practical and inspiring, The Prayer Map Devotional will guide you through 28 weeks of devotional readings and prayers plus the creation of weekly prayer maps to help you better focus your daily prayer time. With prayer-related themes like TRUSTING GOD, BEING PERSISTENT IN PRAYER, and EXPERIENCING THE POWER OF PRAYER, you will be encouraged to spend regular time in the heavenly Father's presence and share what’s on your heart. . .as you build a healthy spiritual habit of continual prayer for life!

There are so many reasons to love this book! The small size that can fit in my purse, a beautiful cover and colorful pages inside, plus a Scripture Index to help me find specified passages easily. It is, however, the content that pleased me most. There are 28 weeks of inspiring thoughts, suggested Bible scripture for each day, and a prayer prompt to help me in my devotion time. Best of all, at the beginning of each of the 28 weeks, there is a two-page prayer map, with space available for me to write my prayer needs for the week ahead. I can list the people that I need to pray for, my concerns, and other things that are bearing on my heart. These prayer maps will guide my prayers each day and the dated entries will allow me to look back to see just how God has been working in my life!

In the introduction to The Prayer Map Devotional, author Donna K. Maltese mentions her desire to help people achieve the prayer life that they desire and I believe that she has succeeded. I recommend this book to everyone wanting to strengthen their walk with God.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.
