MY THOUGHTS.....

There are so many reasons why I loved this book! It has mystery, an inspirational message, and an unusual romance between two very intriguing characters. Charlotte Jackson may be a Southern belle but she is an extremely strong-willed and progressive young woman who finds herself being courted by a Scottish man with a secret agenda. Author Debbie Lynne Costello fills her story with adventure, danger, and powerful chemistry between Charlotte and Duncan but the deceit that Duncan uses to claim her as his bride may end up destroying their marriage. Will Charlotte be able to truly forgive his actions? Can she leave her home and family behind to follow him to Scotland?


I was captivated by Bride by Blackmail and I recommend it to all who enjoy historical Christian romance.
