Texas Christmas Revenge: An Uplifting Romantic Suspense by Connie Queen

Texas Christmas Revenge: An Uplifting Romantic Suspense
ABOUT THE BOOK

Certain a desperate 911 caller is her presumed-dead sister, emergency dispatcher Brandi Callahan follows the cryptic message to a terrified toddler…and an armed assailant. Now Brandi will do anything to protect the boy—even if it means asking her ex-fiancĂ©, Texas Ranger Rhett Kincaid, for help. But can Brandi and Rhett stop this killer before he exacts his terrible Christmas vengeance?

MY THOUGHTS.....

Emergency dispatch workers often get strange calls, but how many times do they get a call from someone who's been missing for two years, and presumed dead? Brandi Callahan believes that she's just answered a frantic call from her sister, and her life is about to change forever. What follows is an action-packed story involving a disillusioned young woman, the Texas Ranger she once loved, an 18-month-old boy found abandoned in an old truck, and too many 'bad guys' to count! Brandi and Rhett Kinkaid experience extreme danger,  painful memories, and a surge of emotions, as they begin their perilous search for the truth. Was Brandi's father falsely accused of wrongdoing? Is her sister still alive? How does baby Levi fit into all of this confusion?

This is Connie Queen's second book and her writing just keeps getting better. Texas Christmas Revenge is a compelling story that kept me turning the pages, and I recommend it to all who enjoy inspirational romantic suspense.

I received a copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review, and I am voluntarily sharing my thoughts.
