Going back to Hollydale and the Great Smoky Mountains is always a treat, and this time we get to see Hollydale through the eyes of newcomers Brooke Novak and her teenage son Colin. Brooke's new job brings her into contact with Jonathan Maxwell and his two young daughters, and it would seem that this widow and widower have a great deal in common. They are single parents, raising children alone, and they are both free to explore a relationship. There's just one problem, and it's a big one: they both have trust issues that they can't seem to overcome.

Author Tanya Agler once again demonstrates her talent for writing an engaging story. She's filled her newest book with memorable characters, a light mystery, and many of the fun activities that you would expect to find in a small town during the Autumn days leading up to Christmas. She's also added the three Cs to add to its appeal: conflict, confusion, and chemistry. Is there a new beginning for Brooke and Jonathan, and will it be together, in Hollydale?
The Single Dad's Holiday Match is an enjoyable contemporary romance, and I am giving it 4 stars!
