Crime Scene Witness (Amish Country Justice #15) by Dana R. Lynn

Crime Scene Witness (Amish Country Justice #15)

Finding a safe haven is the only way to stay alive

When crime scene cleaner Lissa Page discovers a clue at a murder site, she’s attacked and becomes the killer’s new target. Now Deputy US Marshal Micah Bender must protect the single mother from becoming another victim. But with threats coming from every direction, Micah needs to hide Lissa—and the Amish community he left behind might be the answer to keeping his witness safe.

From Love Inspired Suspense: Courage. Danger. Faith.

I've read several of the books in this series and this book certainly didn't disappoint! Author Dana R. Lynn gives readers another edge-of-your-seat thriller that's filled with twists, turns, and so many questions needing to be answered. I was especially intrigued by the heroine of Crime Scene Witness because she works as a crime scene cleaner. Can you imagine having to clean where a vicious crime had been committed? What if you actually knew the person who had been killed?

Lynn kept me fully engaged in Deputy US Marshal Micah Bender's struggle to keep Lissa Page safe after she became the target of someone labeled the Birthday Card Killer. Danger and suspense are keys to this story but I was especially touched by Micah and Lissa's efforts to overcome the hurts from their past. Their journey includes a wonderful faith message that's subtly woven throughout the plot.

This exciting addition to the Amish Country Justice series offers another chance to catch up with the Bender family, but don't worry if you haven't read the others. Crime Scene Witness is definitely a standalone novel and I highly recommend it to all who enjoy romantic Christian suspense.

I received a copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation or a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
