MY THOUGHTS.....
The beautiful little redheaded girl on the cover made me smile and the mention of a sweet surprise made this book even more inviting! Author Angie Dicken shares the touching history of a friendship that teenagers Piper, Sydney, and Lance enjoyed before they each went their ways as adults. Eight years later, Piper and Lance are back in Iowa, older, wiser, and a little battered! Will their special friendship be renewed? Can Hudson Orchard become their place of healing?
It's no secret that I love to read and sometimes I just want a feel-good contemporary story. This is what I found in this book! It's a lovely tale with imperfect characters, second chances, hope, and forgiveness, plus the best surprise ever! I recommend His Sweet Surprise to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.
I received a copy of this book from the author. There was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
