Can a city gal find happiness with a small-town veterinarian? Is friendship possible in a relationship plagued by conflict and misunderstandings? It doesn't seem likely unless forgiveness, or a Christmas miracle, can occur! I loved the human characters of Stella and Jason but two animals threatened to steal the show, or in this case, story! Who wouldn't love an adorable dog named Wishbone and a threatened horse named Starling?
Author Helena Smrcek gives readers a story with great characters, a lovely setting, and the anticipation surrounding the holiday season. Once Upon a Horse is a perfect choice for anyone who enjoys second chances, sweet romance, and the joy of Christmas!
