A new beginning could be closer than he thinks.
What he wants for Christmas…
may not be what he needs.
After receiving an unexpected job offer in Texas, widower Tucker Rainbolt decides he and his twins need a fresh start. But moving on means leaving his best friend, Jena Harper, and their vet clinic behind. For the first time, Tucker sees Jena as more than a buddy. What if leaving isn’t the answer? Maybe what he’s been missing has been right beside him the whole time…

MY THOUGHTS.....
It's hard to understand how two people, obviously blessed with intelligence, can be so OBLIVIOUS about their feelings for each other. Yes, Tucker Rainbolt and Jena Harper know that they're best friends but they don't know that they are in love with each other! Tucker's wife was killed in a tragic accident four years earlier and, with the help of his brothers and his vet associate Jena, he's continued to raise his precious twin daughters in Rebel, Oklahoma. Thinking that he needs a change, Tucker plans to accept a job teaching veterinary classes at South Texas University. Jena, faced with the loss of her best friend and business partner, recognizes that Tucker's move take away so much more!
Author Tina Radcliffe has a knack for creating "cowboy hunk" characters and Tucker may be the best one yet. Yes, I admit it, I have a weakness for cowboys but this cowboy hero is truly special. My Daddy's nickname was Tucker and Tucker Rainbolt has many of the great qualities that my Daddy had. He's devoted to his twin daughters, he's truly loves God, and he is loyal to his family and friends. Jena is a great character also and her loving and compassionate nature makes her the perfect life partner for Tucker. Both have overcome tremendous obstacles and they both have the same interests, so when will they wake up and accept that they are meant to be together?
I love it when a friendship can turn into something more and Radcliffe has thrown in some clean but tantalizing chemistry to chronicle their journey. His Holiday Prayer proves that second-chance love can be the best love of all and this heartwarming, feel-good story is the perfect holiday read! It is filled with love and faith and I recommend it to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.
