Worthy of Legend (The Secrets of the Isles, #3) by Roseanna M. White

Worthy of Legend (The Secrets of the Isles, #3)
ABOUT THE BOOK

After a summer of successful pirate-treasure hunting, Lady Emily Scofield and her friends must hide the unprecedented discoveries they've made, thanks to the betrayal of her own family. Horrified by her brother, who stops at nothing to prove himself to their greedy father, Emily is forced to take a stand against her family--even when it means being cut off entirely.

Bram Sinclair, Earl of Telford, is fascinated with tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table--an interest he's kept mostly hidden for the last decade. But when a diary is unearthed on the islands that could lead to a secret artifact, Bram is the only one able to piece the legends together.

As Bram and Emily seek out the whereabouts of the hidden artifact, they must dodge her family and a team of archeologists. In a race against time, it is up to them to decide what makes a hero worthy of legend. Is it fighting valiantly to claim the treasure . . . or sacrificing everything in the name of selfless love?

MY THOUGHTS.....

Pirates, the legend of King Arthur, and hidden treasure! A young woman who's never felt loved or appreciated and the brave hero who's determined to prove that she's worthy of both! Swoon-worthy chemistry that had me rooting for a 'happily ever after.' All of this can be found in Worthy of Legend and it's a fantastic conclusion to The Secrets of the Isles series. Author Roseanna M. White absolutely surpassed my expectations in this story that offers adventure, history, inspiration, and romance. She also shares a reunion with the two couples from the first two books but, best of all, she introduces super-couple Bram and Emily! Bram, who's embarrassed about his love and fascination with the King Arthur legend, and sweet and forgiving Emily. She may be unworthy in her father and brother's eyes, but she truly displays the meaning of mercy and sacrificial love.

If you love Downton Abbey, you will adore this story. If you can't get enough of wholesome, clean romance that sets your pulse racing, you'll want to read this book! And, if you appreciate motivation and inspiration, you need to grab a copy of Worthy of Legend. It is historical Christian fiction at its best!!

I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
