It didn't take me long to read this book because, once I began, I couldn't put it down! Author Rhonda Starnes delivered the perfect formula for keeping my attention: intriguing characters, spine-tingling adventure, and multiple clues that kept me guessing. FBI Agent Sawyer Eldridge undertakes a dangerous scavenger hunt in the Great Smoky Mountains to find his kidnapped sister before she's killed by a deranged killer. He's aided by bodyguard Bridget Vincent but will their frantic rescue efforts put their own lives in jeopardy?
I enjoyed Starnes's use of cryptic clues from the killer, and I also appreciated the emotional growth and spiritual strength of Sawyer and Bridget during their time working together. Tracked Through the Wilderness is nail-biting suspense tempered by a message of love and redemption and I recommend it to all who enjoy romantic Christian suspense.

Rhonda Starnes is a middle school language arts teacher who has dreamed of being a published author since she was in seventh grade.
