Living at a time when men think women are capable only of homemaking and bearing babies, she adores her exciting new job, excelling in an area men have dominated.

Is it possible to love two men?
I'm never disappointed after reading an Anne Greene story! A Codebreaker's Christmas Surprise is a delightful novella filled with romance, intrigue, and yes, a Christmas surprise! I loved Elizabeth's spunk in pursuing a career as a cryptographer and admired her determination to succeed in a man's world! Remember, men were given better educations and more important jobs in 1942! Elizabeth's character was based on Greene's mother-in-law so learning about a codebreaker's secret work was very enlightening, and the book dedication and special epilogue explained so much more. Anne Greene is known for writing clean romance but the drama in Elizabeth's love triangle made it especially appealing! I recommend this novella to all who enjoy historical Christian romance.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review!
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Besides her first love, writing, she enjoys travel, art, reading, and way too many other things to mention. Life is good. Whether writing contemporary or historical, her books celebrate the abundant life.
Anne loves writing about gutsy heroines and alpha heroes who aren’t afraid to fall on their knees in prayer. Her suspense novel, Shadow of the Dagger, is the first book in her CIA Series. Angel with Steel Wings is the first book in her Women of Courage series that spotlights heroic women of World War II, and her Holly Garden Private Investigating series blasts off with Red is for Rookie. Enjoy her award-winning Scottish historical romances, Masquerade Marriage and Marriage by Arrangement. Anne hopes her stories transport you to awesome new worlds and touch your heart. She is the author of over thirty published books!
I've read a bit about codebreakers and think that work is so interesting. Nice review; I should check this book out--
