Hatteras Island Mystery by Anne Greene

Hatteras Island MysteryABOUT THE BOOK

Wedding photographer, Misty Gordon, photographs a mysterious man at a late December wedding. He disappears before she can discover his name. Next morning as she walks the beach, she discovers his body floating in the ocean.

As Misty summons EMT, the man wakes but has no memory. After he disappears from the hospital, Misty discovers him aboard a million-dollar yacht. As she talks with him, two assassins try to kill them both.

Is this a murder for hire, a revenge killing, or a political assassination? Is the man with no memory a drug dealer, an FBI agent, or a billionaire?

Can Misty solve the mystery before they both end up in the morgue?

MY THOUGHTS.....

Hatteras Island Mystery is an enjoyable mystery that has a sweet romance and enough suspense to keep us guessing till the end. While photographing a wedding Misty Gordon takes a few pictures of a handsome man at the wedding and then, the next morning, she finds him floating in the ocean. He has no memory so it is uncertain if he is an innocent victim or if he is involved in something shady. Misty makes sure that he gets help and then, the adventure begins!

What follows is an exciting tale of Misty and 'Hazard' trying to uncover the details of his past to reveal the present and future. They soon realize a mutual attraction but there are so many questions to be answered. Is 'Hazard' a good guy or is he running from something? Why is someone trying to kill him and why is Misty also a target? Will Misty ever be a bride instead of just an onlooker? Just who is Quinlin Witford PIedmont III?

Anne Greene never fails to entertain and readers never have to worry about explicit sex scenes or foul language. If you are longing to read a good romantic suspense story with a subtle faith-based message, you will want to read this Christian novella.

I received a complimentary copy of this book but a review wasn't required. I am voluntarily sharing my thoughts.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
