MY THOUGHTS.....
Dear Sister, : Letters of Hope and Encouragement is a compilation of letters that author Gisela Yohannan wrote over a period of seven years, and they truly do offer hope and encouragement. She wrote these letters to the wives of pastors and missionaries, as a way to share her experiences, and the lessons she had learned, in her work with Gospel for Asia. Her letters were written from February, 1999 until June, 2005, and each one is a treasure trove of scripture and personal reflection. Now, as I read them, I can only imagine how vital and important they were to the recipients. I marvel at Yohannan's candor and her devout faith, and I myself am uplifted and strengthened by her beautiful words. Some letters are twenty years old, but they are proof of the mighty power of the written word, and the unlimited power of faith!
"Our influence as women is greater than we think. Even if we never do or say anything publicly, we still have enormous power to influence those around us for good or bad with our behavior, values, attitude and words. This is especially true in regard to our families."-- April 2005
