ABOUT THE BOOK
New, from New York Times bestselling author of Amish fiction, Wanda E. Brunstetter, is a must-have cookbook that delivers food for comfort and joy.
Why do we turn to food when our emotions are on a rollercoaster? Why do things like mac and cheese or chocolate chip cookies bring us comfort? Well, this book won’t answer those psychological questions, but it will deliver foods that help you through a bad day or add to a celebration. Brand new from New York Times bestselling author of Amish fiction, Wanda E. Brunstetter, is a new must-have cookbook from Amish and Mennonite cooks. Featuring over 270 recipes divided into traditional categories—from main dishes and sides to desserts and snacks—this lovely book is encased in a lay-flat binding and presented in full color.
I'm always eager to browse Wanda E. Brunstetter's cookbooks and this book is certainly one to keep! Yes, there are delicious recipes, but we can't overlook the inspirational thoughts, reflections, and selections from God's Word. I loved the spiral binding that allows it to lay flat on the counter, numerous indexes for ease of use, and beautiful photos of some of the finished dishes. Wanda E. Brunstetter's Amish Friends Comfort Foods Cookbook is a great choice for cookbook collectors and it is also perfect for gift-giving!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review.
