MY THOUGHTS.....
I have one six-year-old granddaughter so I was thrilled to see that this book is now available. Discipling Your Grandchildren targets grandparents who want their grandchildren to learn about God and experience a personal relationship with Him and His Son Jesus. This new book by Dr. Josh Mulvihill is filled with suggestions to achieve this goal but first, in chapter one, we are reminded just what the Bible says about grandparents. Mulvihill then shares tips for gift giving, food preparation, reading and memorizing the Bible, building relationships in both the home and church, and finally, he offers an extended section on celebrating different holidays during the year.I am thrilled to have this valuable resource and I believe that Discipling Your Grandchildren would be a wonderful addition for church libraries!
I received a copy of this book from Bethany House but there was no obligation to post a positive review. These are my own thoughts.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
