Well, let me tell you, there is a powerful chemistry between them, but there's also a major stumbling block. Elinor's uncle, the King, wants her to choose one of the twelve Knights of Brethren as her husband and Maxim isn't one of those knights. Will Elinor obey her uncle's wishes or will she heed Maxim's special call to her heart? What follows is a story that will captivate you and leave you wanting more!
Oh, how I love this book that is based on the classic tale of Excalibur. Enamored has adventure that makes your heart pound, romance that takes your breath away, and a faith message that will warm your heart and touch your soul. What's even better is that this book isn't limited to one age group: teens will certainly love it, but certainly no more than an 'ahem' year-old grandmother!
Author Jody Hedlund writes in several different genres, and she's made me a fan of her medieval/fantasy books. I highly recommend Enamored and I can't wait to see what's next in the Knights of Brethren series. Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this 5-star read!
