Lights Out (The SNAP Agency, #1) by Natalie Walters

Lights Out (The SNAP Agency, #1)
ABOUT THE BOOK

CIA analyst Brynn Taylor developed a new program to combat terrorism, and she invited members of foreign intelligence agencies to America to foster cooperation between countries. Now one of them, Egyptian spy Remon Riad, is missing.

Jack Hudson has been working for the Strategic Neutralization and Protection Agency (SNAP) for almost nine years and takes the lead in hunting down the missing spy. But he isn't at all pleased to find out Brynn is involved. It's hard to trust a woman who's already betrayed you.

Every lead they follow draws them dangerously deeper into an international plot. Kidnapping, murder, explosions, poisoning--the terrorists will do anything to accomplish their goal of causing a digital blackout that will blind a strategic US military communications center and throw the world into chaos.

Can Brynn surrender control to a man who doesn't trust her? And can Jack ever get over what she did to him? The fate of the world--and their hearts--hangs in the balance.

MY THOUGHTS.....

Wow, just wow! Brynn Taylor, Jack Hudson, and other members of The SNAP Agency are desperately trying to prevent a cyber attack that could have international repercussions, and there seems to be no limit to what the terrorists will do to achieve their goal. As Brynn and Jack race to prevent a catastrophe, they also have to work through a past relationship and find a way to trust each other. Will they be able to succeed?

Lights Out
has it all---intrigue, non-stop action, a thrilling romance, and a wonderful faith message. It also has amazing characters that you'd like to have as friends. Brynn and Jack are great, but I absolutely loved Kekoa, a 'giant Hawaiian teddy bear of a man', and I'm hoping that he'll get his own story.

Terrorism is such a threat in today's society, and I found myself wondering what was a figment of the author's imagination, and what might actually happen! Did I like this new book by author Natalie Walters? Yes, yes, yes! Will I read the next book in The SNAP Agency series? You betcha!

I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher, but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
