MY THOUGHTS.....

Wow! I'm finding it hard to express just how much I loved this book. Even though it can't be labeled a Christian read, it should certainly be considered clean. Rembrandt Stone is a police detective so he may occasionally use rough language and he is madly in love with his wife so there are hints of intimacy but none of these scenes are graphic or overly offensive. Cast the First Stone is the first book of a series of six that are all scheduled to release in 2021 and all I can say is "Thank goodness we don't have to wait a year to learn just what is going on!" This is a thrilling time-travel book that often left me wondering just what I'd read and when I got to the last page, I knew that I was hooked! This book ends with a cliff-hanger and I can't wait to see what's in store for a time-traveling detective who is reminded over and over to "Be Stalwart".

"I might be able to travel through time, but clearly I've brought my demons with me."

This new time-travel series is the collaborative effort of debut author David Curtis Warren, and well-known authors Susan May Warren and James Rubert, thus the pen name David James Warren. If you enjoy realistic characters and suspense that leaves you wanting more, you'll definitely want to read Cast the First Stone. It is a pulse-altering, mind-boggling thriller that you won't be able to put it down!

I was given a copy of this book but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
