The Christmas Bridezilla by Tanya Stowe and Love at Christmas Inn

The Christmas Bridezilla
ABOUT THE BOOK

Nothing is going to get in the way of Allie’s perfect wedding at Christmas Inn…not even the missing groom!

Allie Cranston has been planning her perfect Christmas wedding since her parents split up. Her family spent many holidays at Christmas Inn with their good friends, the Bowmans. Allie stubbornly believes that having her wedding at the inn will erase the hurt feelings keeping her loved ones apart. Absolutely nothing is going to get in the way of her perfect wedding…nothing. Not even the fact that her groom hasn’t shown up.

Dirk Bowman has stood by Allie through thick and thin. He always hoped she would recognize his steadfast love. But Allie’s wedding at Christmas Inn is his last act of support. He’s moving to the west coast and starting a new chapter in his life…far from Allie and the battling Cranstons.

MY THOUGHTS.....

This is such a lovely story, with all of the elements of an entertaining Hallmark Christmas movie! There is a young woman who dreams of a perfect Christmas wedding, her fiancé who isn't quite as eager to be married, and a long-time friend who would love to be the one waiting at the altar when she walks down the aisle. Allie Cranston's plans for her beautiful wedding made me want to be there, watching Allie and her fiancé tie the knot. There's just one little hitch--the groom doesn't show up!

Allie does seem to be a bridezilla, overly eager and wanting to be in control, but in reality she is just a young woman wanting her family back, together as they once were, and enjoying the holidays at Christmas Inn. Can she accept that this dream isn't possible? Will she realize that one love lost may lead to a greater love down the road?

This is a heartwarming novella, and author Tanya Stowe made me want to visit Christmas Inn, with the 'twelve-foot Christmas tree, decorated in gold and silver, topped with an angel wearing brilliant white wings'. I also wanted to hear the legendary bells that ring 'at love's first kiss'The Christmas Bridezilla is filled with faith, family, and the promise of an everlasting love, and I recommend it to all who enjoy holiday-themed Christian romance.

I received a digital copy of this book from the author but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
